Please call us with details as soon as possible.

I am ready to book - what do I do?

Please call / email us with the following details.

  • Full passenger name (s) as they appear on your passport or ID issued by any government

  • Date of birth of all passengers

  • Dates that you wish to travel and please let us know if you have any flexibility

  • Payment information (Name as it appears on your credit card, address on file with credit card company)

  • Contact number and email address

  • Frequent Flyer number of the airline or hotel

Do I have to pay in full upfront?

This is dependent on our partners. Airline reservations / bookings must be paid in full. Many partners will allow a deposit. We will confirm this with you at the time of booking.

What type of payments are excepted?

We accept credit card payments (Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover and Dinners Club). For all credit card payments, please complete, sign and email Credit Card Authorization Form to reservations@worldjourneytravel.com along with a copy of your ID and your credit card (front and back)

Does the airline allow name changes on airline tickets?
Name changes are NOT allowed in any circumstances. Once the ticket is issued the name cannot be changed. New ticket has to be reissued and paid. It is crucial for us to have the exact name that appears on your passport and your government issued ID.

Is my ticket refundable?
Most of the tickets are non-refundable unless you purchase an unrestricted airline ticket.

How much is the penalty fee?

The fee varies depending on the airline and whether you are traveling within Unites States or internationally.

What types of documents are required to travel?
For a domestic flight at check in a government ID is required. For international flights passport is needed, and a visa. So, please be advised to check if you need a visa for your destination. Our agents are not responsible for information regarding visa or passport requirements.

When Should I renew my passport?

Many countries will not allow you to enter unless you have 6 months of validity remaining. It is always best to renew your passport 6 months before it expires.

On International flights do I need to pay departure tax?
Yes. Most countries charge a departure tax at the airport on the day you are returning home and it has to be paid in cash.

How may I obtain a frequent flyer number?
World Journey Travel will be glad to set it up for you at a minimal fee. Please provide the following information.

  • Full name

  • Home address

  • Telephone number

Do I really need the trip insurance?

We recommend it. Here is why:

  • If a family member gets sick

  • If your baggage is lost

  • If your trip is delayed

  • If your passport lost or stolen

  • If weather prevents your travel

  • If you need to see a doctor for a sudden injury

  • If you miss a flight connection

The plans can vary some in terms of coverage, so it's important to review conditions and policies carefully to find one that meets your needs. Coverage has to be purchased within 5-10 days of initial trip payment.
